I also saw where once you plug in it might take up to 30 seconds to go from red to green, I assume you waited longer than that.

Thanks for the thread. Seems like there are some other Rivian owners in my shoes. Yes, waited more than 30s. Ordered a TeslaTap mini to help diagnose.

Ok...I'm a bit behind here... So, is the Magic dock on the Tesla charger when you role up? or did you purchase one and bring it with you to use? If so, which one? Thx.

They are built in correct - there are three in WA state at the moment. Go to the Tesla app and it’ll give you the option to “Charge Your Non Tesla” which should bring up the map with all the magic dock equipped superchargers.
As of this moment you cannot supercharge using an adapter - only with the magic dock.

I use the TeslaTap and it has worked seamlessly since I got my R1T in February

Thanks for confirming...I've put a Peninsula loop on my winter beach trip plans. With the Rivian chargers in Aberdeen, you can loop and do a little off-roading too boot!

Sorry, brand new to this forum. Have been kind of freaking out about where and how to charge. Will be in LaPush this weekend and notice the lack of any chargers. Just noticed this thread. Let me get this straight, the magic charger will work on the rivian in forks without an adapter? I just need an app on my phone? Please respond. Thank you for the assistance!

Yes if it's a magic dock supercharger it will work with an CCS car. There are only about 35 magic dock locations so if you are lucky enough to be near one, download the Tesla app and try it out.

Get the Tesla App - set up the Tesla app with a payment method - and you’re golden.
