Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

For what it’s worth I reached out via chat today, I’ve been relatively quiet on this board but an early reservation holder since February 11, 2019. I pressed the guy named Josh in the chat after he gave me the standard “yes your order still on track for March April,” I asked if that is that really true and you have any more information. He said he can’t give me more information other than a guide will be contacting me “soon”. Very sad indeed. So I pushed him and said, can you tell me with 100% certainty that I will still receive my R1T and the March April window, and should I assume April 30. He said absolutely deliveries are on track in the March April window and I will get it no later than April 30. Again I’ve been quite on the board but just wanted to share this even though it’s not much different than we have all been hearing

Congratulations! Had you been assigned a Guide prior to this call? My phone will only accept calls from my Contact List, otherwise they go straight to Voice Mail. I checked with CS and they told me I would be contacted by email first. I'm guessing you already had a Guide? It seems only those that have previously been assigned a Guide, for a while, are getting contacted. Maybe not.

Although the supply chain has killed the deliveries of the new Model S and Model X for Tesla.

I dunno, I think there is more too it than just supply. They did that redesign, and then didn't ship anything for a year. X's are still getting dates from a year ago orders moved out to late summer. Musk even said they screwed up something.

Things are never that black and white but the supply chain issues are very real. Lucid just revised their production guidance for 2022 down by about 40% due to supply chain issues. They are having issues with things like glass and carpets, not so much with chips.

First guide contact this morning. August '19 preorder, estimate was March/April. He said that they are expecting an April/May delivery.

We were assigned one in the early waves and were originally targeting a November delivery.

Got in touch this morning. Currently 4-8 weeks with a revised/more specific timeframe when it gets loaded onto transport.

Heard from my guide today. Quick intro call. Told me to expect delivery in a ”few weeks” then verified by saying April to May. Told me to expect a follow up email and a follow up phone call in the next week or two.….January 2019 R1T reservation iholder

As I was reading this my phone rang - Rivian Guide! First contact! She tells me I am due for delivery in 4 - 6 weeks! Soooo excited!

Rivian had some employees in Dallas yesterday and today with a few trucks for an AT&T event. AT&T provides the connectivity, so apparently they came in, gave some of the execs drives, etc. It was a private event, but I caught a tip on Reddit that they were there and went down this morning. The employees were very nice and walked me through everything.

The interesting tidbit I gleaned from the employees there was that they are batching all Black Mountain right now apparently. So for those that haven't been contacted and don't have Black Mountain selected, that could be why. I doubt it pushes you out significantly further than those with Black Mountain, but it seems to be a factor. Maybe that is already known, but I found it interesting.
