I was just by the Dallas center again yesterday. They still have a ways to go.

they told me mine would be heading to Dallas. As its operational compared to the Houston one.

they did mention, my truck is already nearing end of production. and expected to arrive between 4-8weeks. assuming nothing goes wrong, but this was conservative estimate.

Interesting. It must look a lot better on the inside than it would appear. Either that or they plan to finish the remaining work quickly. Granted, it has been about 2 weeks since I was able to see the interior from the street, through the bay door.

Emailed my newly added guide earlier this morning and have a call this afternoon for 3 CST. Progress! Looks like I’ll get to edit my signature line!

I was contacted by my guide on the fateful March 1st whiplash of emotions from that first price increase email. I was locked in the preorder price from the get go but am super stoked Rivian reversed course. My guide sent me an email and a link to set up a phone call. The phone call only needs a couple of minutes to confirm your configuration but we chatted a lot about what happened on March 1st and the upcoming adventures Im gonna have with my R1T.

Note Rivian can only send one pair of crossbars. If you want a second you have to get thru the online store.

Next they sent a prelim price contract. It originally had the camp kitchen/gear shuttle. However, I got called today by my guide that the camp kitchen is not available and he asked me if its ok to proceed without it for now. I said yes of course. Camp kitchen will still be same preorder price.

When I talked to my guide he couldn’t state ballpark delivery but I got the sense my truck is built and should be leaving the factory soon! Im prepared for 4-6 weeks but hopeful it will be a lot sooner

Never did test ride or first mile. They will deliver to my house and will do an extensive go thru and tutorial of my truck. Supposedly there is a one week grace period to drive it before committing 100%

There was a blue one at the delivery facility this morning when I swung by. My guide told me this morning that mine is currently in Portland and awaiting inspection.

Just received an email and texted with my Guide for the first time. He said mine is about to start production and is about 4-6 weeks out. Also said I will be the 4th one delivered to Texas! Very excited! I ordered 2/2019 - R1T Silver, Black interior, Camp Kitchen and a few other options. Going to schedule a call for later in the week!

Holy shit ladies and gents... just finished the 8 step process and have delivery scheduled on 3/10 @1pm!!!!! I'd finished the preliminary buyer's agreement 12 days ago and was quoted 4-6 weeks for delivery. Woohoo!!!

He did not say - and actually re reading it this was what he actually typed - guess it was "his" 4th delivery in Texas..... guess my excitement got the best of me....

"That's awesome! We appreciate you very much! You are going to be my fourth delivery in Texas. I'm glad to see us pushing for deliveries down there. Where do you work at?"

And I am in the Katy area - west Houston.
