    I'm in Texas and have asked multiple times through service centers, Rivian corporate, emails, etc... and have gotten nothing but crickets in response. If it's available, I have no idea how to obtain it through Rivian. Or maybe they don't want to warranty a Gen 1 with a 3K VIN.

    It is pretty common from what I can tell at this point. I paid to have it installed on my Gen 1 out of warranty.... actually used referral bucks that were going to expire.

    Yes I realize that. More reason that I love my Gen 1. Listening to that would drive me over the edge.

    I had my Gen 1 R1T early ass VIN LE in for some service and was given a brand new Gen 2 TriMax loaner (thank you very much Rivian!). I even pealed the plastic off the screen. Anyhow, the heat pump on it was so insanely loud I couldn't believe it. My gen 1 is whisper quiet in comparison...

    Mine is the same as well. It does show open or closed on the dash, just not the app.... must be a bug. I don't recall if it did or not before?
