Think that has been confirmed to be the wife of a Rivian employee. Someone posted it earlier - said she is a cheer coach at some University there. And no - I'm not stalking anyone - just reading comments from people here.
None of it matters. We are all just bored and killing time at work. If we could all buy Rivian merchandise right now, we would complain that we don't have our LEs. If we all had our LEs, we would start to complain that the newer R1s are going to be winch capable, or float, or or get 600 miles...
I don't think they are actively being disingenuous either. The sum of my frustration is nothing more than poor communication, the same thing that has disappointed you.
No disrespect to you at all. It's just a poke in the eye to some of us that have been waiting for years. I'm perfectly fine with Rivian delivering to employees first. I actually think its awesome that they are. It's just as infuriating, however, when they have routinely laid out timelines...
Looks like she lives in Illinois. Should we wager if her husband or other family member works for Rivian?
So maddening. Rivian is killing us with semantics.
My dealer did the same. I also have a very early Bronco pre order. They asked me if I wanted to convert that into a Bronco Raptor order that should deliver summer of 2022. I don't know if that is right or a load of BS, but if a Bronco Raptor was ready before my R1T, that would be a tough...
Where did you get those dimensions? When I google 2018 Ford Raptor Width - I consistently get 79.9 to 86.3". And I hope, for the record, you are right.
My wife has put the hammer down and demanded she get her double garage side back when I get my R1T (which I acquired when I got my Raptor in 2018). At the time I had just pre ordered the R1T and thought to myself "no way it will be wider than the freaking Raptor." Well this weekend I had some...
I just had someone tell me during a chat with customer service, that they "hope" to have contacted all LE pre order holders by the end of Thanksgiving. Don't know if he misspoke or if that is the new "hope."
That sucks. Hopefully you get a definitive delivery date in the very near future. I would think that if you were contacted in May they would have told you something by this point in regards to a date.
I agree, but it would be nice if someone could tell me - you will get your LE by this date or a Max pack by this date. It's a large purchase - and knowing that timeline would be huge for me - and probably quite a few other LE holders. But... such is life. I'm not complaining - just wishing.
I just don't have much faith in what a guide may quote at this point anyhow - given all the supply chain constraints. They could say 4 months difference, but that could easily become a year + if cargo ships continue to be docked off of NY and LA for months at a time.
I'm in the same boat. Originally ordered the Max Pack, but switched to LE when preordering started. May switch back if a guide could give me the difference in delivery dates. I reserved in Feb 2019. If we are talking just a difference of 6 months or less, I would definitely switch. If over a...
