3. Are there any commands you can give an echo in your house to control the Rivian? (Start cabin heat, how much range, etc) like a Rivian skill?
That's a great question and one given the Amazon tie I'd expect to see in the future. I just looked and there are no Rivian skills when I search.

I saw these photos, but I would like to know exactly the size of the cup holders or if someone has tried a Yeti tumbler or water bottle so I can figure out exactly what size fits. I have no way of knowing the size of the water bottle or tumbler in the photo.

Not sure if you meant for it to but this post sounds a bit rude considering you are asking someone for a favor. May have been better to start with a Thank You and then asked for the measurement.

He does have a standard soda can in the picture, you cold calculate the size from that

Did any of you purchase the Rivian wall charger? If not, what are you using to charge?

While not directly qualified to answer in the theme of this thread, any Level 2 charger would do. Personally I went with the Chargepoint Flex but there are several other options. You should check if your utility provider gives a rebate on any EVSEs/Home Chargers.

I put shoes on to go out in the rain to measure it now; the diameter is 3.25".

The pictured tumbler is a Kleen Kanteen 27 oz at 2.9" diameter.

No. Details over here.

There was absolutely no rude intent in my earlier reply. I think it comes down to how you read it and how you interpreted it. I was simply restating my original question and why this photo wouldn’t answer my question. I do see the can in the photo, but I would be guessing as to how much extra diameter beyond the can size exists. I don’t want to guess if it’s as easy as asking an existing owner in case they know or if they have tried a specific water bottle or tumbler. I will gladly and sincerely thank anyone that is able to answer the question.

Timesinks, thank you so much for measuring the cup holder and for running out in the rain to do it. I hope you didn’t get too wet! It’s much much appreciated! And congrats on your R1T!!!

I have some questions about the Entertainment package. Does the R1 come with a standard AM/FM/XM radio or radio interface? Or is it all driven from your smartphone apps? I would prefer to have a radio, and an XM subscription, as opposed to running everything through my phone.

No AM. No XM. Built-in FM, HD Radio, Spotify, Tune-In, and Bluetooth.

No AM, no XM. There is FM radio -- have not played with it yet. Spotify is integrated so you can stream music without running it through your phone. Some people have discussed getting a bluetooth XM unit as a possibility. I hate being on Sirius's various marketing lists with incessant phone calls and mailers, so I will be avoiding that option.

Edit: @godfodder0901 beat me to it, and I'd forgotten about TuneIn (also haven't played with that yet either). You can probably get some AM stations by streaming them with that.

Unfortunately, I am not that up to date on Spotify, Tuned In, etc. I do know how to bluetooth, as I listen to audiobooks while driving now. But I would like to have an XM unit, as I have been a user since Sirius launched.

Thanks for the info though.

After reading that TuneIn was installed I signed up for their premium subscription just to see how it functions and overall I like it. It functions similar to iHeartradio where you can listen to local radio stations but also gives you national options for sports and news. Obviously the drawback is that you are only able to listen if you have a cellular signal, but for times when you are traveling the highways it might be a good option.
