Mine did this yesterday and no Guide either. CS said no Guide assigned that they can see as well. Wonder if this is happening to everyone that's flipping back to old pricine?
Don't get excited. There's basically zero chance they're prepping you for production unless they accidentally forgot to stick some LE badges on a truck that didn't pass QA. ? (trust me, I'd be freaking out if I saw that too.)

SeaGeo…you get yours yet? Also, are you inferring a non-LE is less quality than a LE? Would love to find more on here that have flipped back to old pricing and config locked to see what’s going on.

Nope.

No, I was just joking around that adventure trim are at least 3 months from being in production. So if anyone had am adventure trim, it would be an accident.

Great info and glad I can stop getting excited. :)
Do you work for Rivian? Where’s your info come from besides, like me, the obvious’? Would love a final answer on this to help all those getting locked.

My saga continues. 3/21 contact. Tuesday 3/22 paid and VIN assigned and Stage 8 opened for me on Wednesday 3/23. Estimated delivery for this week from Guide for manually delivery assignment (calendar for delivery is still broken).

Yesterday my guide called and informed me that my "vehicle failed inspection." They are working to find a a new vehicle with my configuration (common build LG with 20" A/T)and still pushing for this month delivery. I followed up with my Guide this morning and offered to pick up in Atlanta to save them having to coordinate delivery to Charleston, SC and to expand color preference to our other favorite colors to increase the odds of finding an unassigned unit in transit.

The latest update is that the "Issue has been kicked up to leadership and is highest priority." They still claim delivery before the end of the month is possible, but I find it unlikely.

I understand the process is new and we are all working through the growing pains, but I feel like the Guides are being told to be eternally optimistic when tempering expectations would be the better approach. Just tell me to expect a delay at this point and I can move on with my week.

---

I think a lot of lessons learned will come from this. They need to stop giving tight delivery dates until they have a stack of vehicles that are actually totally ready for delivery. Rivian is obviously dealing with some final QA issues, which is fine, we all want a good product, but the let down over and over this close to the end of my wait is literally heart wrenching. I'm losing sleep wondering if I should have called my guide 1 more time or if I could be pushing this thing forward with a little more persistence.

Seeing other folks take delivery should be joyful, but now I can't help but [unfairly] wonder if that should be in my driveway instead.

It's a better sign if you aren't able to take delivery by the end of the month, since it means they are legitimately trying to fix the problem rather than pushing it out the door as fast as they can to pad the quarterly numbers.

No. Just from a combination of understanding what they're making (launch edition vehicles), and what their delivery windows were/are for launch edition vehicles and adventure time vehicles.

Yea. I've told my Guide that I'm happy that they are doing it right. I guess my only gripe is the (surprise surprise) misguided/lack of communication.

I had to switch exterior and interior colors but it’s here a month early!
Congrats! Envious. Sry, Had to ask, what are the parking spaces sized for?
