Restoring CANCELED Orders - a new Deposit

With the 'excitement' of our Configurators having the original lower pricing restored, I was curious about the timing for Rivian to reinstate in our homepage a vehicle canceled out of frustration/anger in early March. Here's the response from CS. First time I heard about having to place a deposit again. Not a big deal, of course, but figured I would share with the community here.

That's interesting, since I was explicitly told when I re-instated that they were still going to refund my initial deposit and I would not need to place another, and that I'd just pay the full price at time of purchase. As it is, my reinstated order still isn't appearing on site, so I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs

I think you guys should let us go ahead of you seeing as it could be us that forced Rivian’s hand to go back to original prices.

I was told by support that we would also not lose our place in line... which was ambiguous to begin with so we will never know if it happens or not.

I think they might have. It certainly would explain why my non-cancelled April-May delivery estimate meant I got my truck on March 28th.
