My exact feelings, but it will be fine. I know the R1T is not perfect, but it is pretty amazing. I'm sure Sandy and his team, will find things or have suggestions of ways to improve on the hard work RJ's team has put into the R1's, which will lead to a better Rivian.

I'm sure you're right. So much work has been done by so many smart people by the time he does a tear down that it seems like it's more opinion based than anything.

The whole point of what this firm does is to dismantle a vehicle and sell the resulting data to competing manufacturers.

The youtube stuff is just advertising…that also generates money

Good point. I forget he's more than just a youtube influencer with an electric screen presence.

He's knowledgeable but not an expert on everything. He said the R1T was a unibody truck when he had the R1T in a lift.

Ugh. I really don't know how I feel about this. Like many of you, I feel completely different about a vehicle that I am pining to own be torn to shreds but also deeply curious about what lies beneath.

Sandy mentioned he's going to drive it around a bit since his wife doesn't like people driving her truck. Anyone think Sandy will decide to keep the truck afterall?

I think it's dangerous for him to drive it around too much. You don't want to get attached to it.
