live in Fredericksburg area, had 1st-mile mobile drive today and it was wonderful. EL Cap RIT came to my house. Test drove it, even took it on a dirt road. What a wonderful experience. Reaffirmed my decision to order, and will seriously add more shares. Vehicle build quality surpassed my wildest expectations. Now just waiting on the Max pack.

Alright, just completed my drive. El Cap on BM, the wheels are gorgeous by the way. Overall paint and finish is excellent, gaps are very consistent including the charge port. Very weird paint run off in the pillar, pic came out blurry.
Truck handles very very well, body control is fantastic. Fast! Did hard pulls, gravel sliding w TC off, and all modes. I have no issues with harshness.
Power tonneau cover worked great, no loud noises.
Interior is very very nice. The alcantara like head liner is Porsche luxurious. I actually liked BM more than I thought I'd like it. It's more ash than black.
The sound system is not great for the price point. Spotify couldn't find a simple artist or song, so I didn't mess with it much.
I drove the vehicle hard for my allotted time, started at 85% SOC, dropped to 81% at the end.
The Rivian employee had it at 3.1m/kWh when he came, said all highway in Driver+.

Overall, I'm happy with the truck, solid, well built. Now if I only can get mine ...Cheers, and thank you Rivian!

I was there yesterday talking with a couple gentlemen...names withheld cause I was in the employee only area and did get some good tidbits of info...seem like a good group of folks. And the products - man I'm looking forward to mine.

Just did my routine morning log into my Rivian account. Had a test drive invite waiting. Check yours!

I did my test drive on Friday, April 15 with "Johnny" in an El Cap, BM, 20 AT. 30 minutes of stick time, followed by crawling around the truck. Great escort-- knew what he could tell me and what he couldnt

VERY well built, taller than my Honda Ridgeline, handled well on pot holes and city bumps. They have not even seen any Ocean Coast or Forest Edge interiors come through Richmond.
