SoCal Rivian Meetup - June 11th @ Griffith Park

Let's make this first one easy and choose Griffith Park. As people have mentioned, Venice Hub is too hard to park at for everyone and Griffith offers a ton of perks. We're probably not going to have a ton of trucks at the first one, but never know how SoCal Deliveries will be in another month. I'm all for making the next one a little further down toward San Diego if there interest down there. I'll make the drive though not sure how many up in LA would.

Spread the word. I saw a LG R1T getting a haircut today. It was nice chatting with that owner as he was having issues I haven't yet seen here. I mentioned the forum but he said he wasn't on here. First owner I've meet in the wild.

Somewhere in Orange County would be cool since it would make it easier for the San Diego trucks to make it up.

What about Riip Brewery in Huntington Beach they have a large parking lot. R1Ts and Beers!! Driver+ works on the 405 freeway for the ride home.

Griffith park is good. LA Cars and Coffee is the last Sunday of the month and there's always plenty of room.

Yeah no reason others couldn't come by. Happy to show off my R1T, the good and bad. Just tracking the R1Ts coming by so we get an idea of how many might be represented.

Just a thought for future events....

Golden Road Brewery is a really cool spot! They have great food and beer and its family friendly. I recently went there and saw another R1T but wasn't able to flag down the owner.

How funny...I take the 5 every morning to work. This is usually around 6ish

There's a few dozen of us in SoCal now. Ya'll want to plan the first meetup? I'd be curious to compare notes with other R1T owners and see how things work on your vs mine. Guessing might be only 2 or 3 of us at the first one but we could get something started. With so few Rivian's out there we could probably meetup anywhere. Any interest?

Got a very busy June so I don't want to cast a vote when I am not sure I can make it but once the date is set I will try hard to make it work. I am really wanting to meet other owners and compare build quality and some issues that I am curious at to whether they are unique to my truck or systemic in the current production.

Oh, and if switching to an OC location is actually a possibility that would be better as well.
