Hi all,

I am new here.
Ordered R1T in Nov 2018. Recently changed to Forest Edge interior due to the delays to Ocean Coast.

We were allocated a Rivian guide over 6 months ago and yesterday finally got the below email.......does this mean we might be close?
There isn't anything additional in our Rivian Account yet.

One of the best parts of our work as Rivian Guides is helping you get ready for your new Electric Adventure Vehicle. We’ve been ramping up production at our manufacturing campus in Illinois, and we’re excited that your R1 is almost ready to go.

The next step before delivery is for you to complete the digital purchasing experience. Hosted within your Rivian Account, it includes everything you need to take ownership — from title and registration to financing, insurance, final payment and deciding where and when you’d like your R1 delivered.

We’ve designed the experience to be smooth, seamless and intuitive, and to make it easier we’ve made a checklist of the personal and vehicle information you’ll need for each step. Have you reached out to your guide? Be persistent, nice but persistent, I pick up my truck tomorrow at 8:30 at the Bellevue SC.

Had a text conversation with our Guide yesterday, where he asked us to confirm details of our reservation. About 2 hours later we received this email.
I told my guide i was flexible on Color and I think that made a difference. He called me with options that were ready to go. I originally chose a White one that was recalled after it got here but before I took delivery. That was on 5/9 we decided to flip to a whole new truck El Cap Granite, 22 darks, full underbody. which I get tomorrow!!!

Its amazing how different experiences are guide to guide. I told the guide I was flexible on color and all he said was changing the color could push my delivery date back.

Its amazing how different experiences are guide to guide. I told the guide I was flexible on color and all he said was changing the color could push my delivery date back.
When my white truck was recalled he called me with 3-4 options for trucks ready in Normal and one at the SC in CA. I chose one in Normal last week and it was delivered today to Bellevue and as I said I am picking it up at 8:30 Tomorrow.:clap:

Yes. My VIN# showed up quickly after this and truck not long after (just took delivery today). 5/9 Guide contact to delivery 5/25 (today).
our first guide contact was over a year ago :-( so hopefully we are getting close!

Wow that's crazy. My delivery guy was actually based in the Portland service center and down temporarily helping the Sacramento service center ramp up. Sounded like he'd been through a lot of deliveries up there...

Wow that's crazy. My delivery guy was actually based in the Portland service center and down temporarily helping the Sacramento service center ramp up. Sounded like he'd been through a lot of deliveries up there...
We are on our 2nd guide, this one in based on Sacramento……first one was in Normal.

Our guide informed us we were going into Production, but it could still be a month or two before delivery. However, we were asked if we were flexible on color…..we were! One on the west coast has been assigned to us!

To my surprise, I also got the "A Seamless Process to Purchase Your Rivian" email this morning. I'm a March 2021 R1S and last week changed to an R1T thinking it might move up delivery. I have not been assigned a guide, nor have I been asked to lock down my configuration. Chatted with CS, who told me: "Okay, so if there aren't any links embedded in this email inviting you to lock your configuration. You will be provided an invite to do so shortly after this one. Once you receive that email to confirm and lock your configuration, a Guide will be assigned to you shortly after." I had made peace with the idea I would probably only get a Rivian (R1T or R1S) sometime in 2023, and now this email - don't want to get my hopes up high, only to realize once again Rivian continues to struggle with its comms learning curve.....
