oh, I see it's become the "ordered in 2021 double-green" battle here. I will rock-paper-scissors with my 7 months of superiority over you!
Given the natural order of all things Rivian, kurtlikevonnegut and I will more than likely take delivery prior to yours. And I say that as a former Athhole from Masshole.


EDIT: I case other forum members do not understand that I am not picking on JGard18 I offer the following:

In the 1980's (at least) anyone from Athol, MA was often referred to as an Athhole. The Masshole part was anyone from Massachusetts.

Tony's heads up email was nice but Rivian really just needs to get those updated delivery windows out ASAP now.

Back in the WBCN days I recall those jokers doing a fake ad for a segment on that Chronicle or Evening Magazine show about Peter Falk visiting Athol Massachusetts. (Oh it’s just beautiful!)

I wonder if they tell you the R1 in the shop is one that was rejected with multiple Drive-train replacement or just an extra off the line.

Looks like 23 guys like me are still in the insignificant club. Have to wait for the rest of the yer to get the bird in the email.

So you'll only get a window update if your window has changed? Why not just tell everyone what their current window is to avoid any confusion?

Why do they have to word everything in the least concise and most obtuse manner possible?
It is the way

This email, for me, triple confirms the delivery windows they sent us back in Dec '21 are meaningless. I think there was/is consensus on this fact here in the forum.

This email also tells me I might not get a new delivery window before the start of '23

"For all other preorder holders, we plan to share updated delivery window estimates on a rolling basis through the remainder of the year." ?
