R1T updated estimated delivery window email (received June 11)

Supposedly my Rivian is in general assembly according to my guide, but my window (according to the e-mail) went from June-July of this year to August- September. It is hard to believe that a vehicle can be in general assy for 3+ months.

I got some lingo from my guide. But got this email today.

So, reading RIVIANs last email dated the 6th of June, it looks like they are only updating the production estimate dates of pre-order holders who will have updated delivery estimates in 2022.

Which extrapolates to, if you don't have an updated window estimating a 2022 delivery, you won't get an email?

Anyone here get an email update today with an estimate in 2023?

Original Oct-Dec 22. New Aug-Sept 22. But I already have a VIN.

The guidance they were giving was 2023 and the recent emails have said that if you don't get an update this week then your window is unchanged. I would chat with CS to confirm your window.

That's the problem I don't even have a delivery window, never got one was too late. I'm just trying to financially plan and right now we have things in limbo like summer vacation, getting a car for our son etc.

I did order Nov 2018, had to change to Forest Green to get one that was ready.

was May-June, I've had my guide for over a month now with pretty much no progress.

wonder if my guide changing my delivery location to the factory messed things up.

March - April 2022 - but I’ve had a guide for a year and a half. In fact on my 2nd guide.

I preordered in January fucking 2019. I should not have been June/July to begin with. I can nearly see the service center from my house. And what’s wrong with my config? Sure, I have compass yellow but they’re shipping now. I have the powered tonneau. I have the 20” AT and that wasn’t a problem before but is now? What else can I change? *EDIT* also have BM interior*

I guess I should just put in a new order tonight and I’ll get delivery in a few weeks because it seems I’ve already been passed in line by later preorder holders for access to the R1 Shop.

Yeah, yeah I’m bitching. You would be too if 1) you didn’t have your R1T already or 2) you ordered when I did and have my delivery date.

I have the most basic config - Glacier White, BM, 21 tires, power tonneau and live within 50 miles of either the SF service center or Sac one. Makes zero sense to be moved back so far. ??‍?

So I have a similar config, but Rivian Blue. I suspect it may be the spare tire that is causing us to get pushed back so far.

It seems like they are out of 20" AT wheels (hence all the 21 sports we are seeing).

Weren't you June/July because that was the first Adventure window. I believe everything before that was for Launch Edition pre orders.
