Thanks to Rivian. I got some more wheel time, wife got to ask all the questions she had and do some practice route planning on the center monitor, etc. I first sat in one at SEMA years ago, had an unofficial first drive with buddy auto journalists, yet was still impressed with many aspects. As you might be able to see the unit we drove had the all terrain tires, it still handled really well on street with this tire compromise (we ordered the street 21 inch).
Yeah...it's quick! Was impressed with how well mapped the throttle is now, tried both the normal and higher level regenerative braking and found it was just a few miles until totally comfortable with one foot driving. Wife liked the center screen responsiveness and power tonneau cover, and the big overhead bit of glass. I liked the cooled seats, the room in the back, flat cornering, and the power.
