Nobody would make that connection; and since all their promo videos have them talking about how the frunk and spare well can function great as coolers I think you’re being a bit silly.

I’m pretty sure Rivian thinks everyone should just use their phone. The key fob seems more like a show piece than something to actually use.

Personally, I think they should abandon the wristband and make an Apple Watch app. They could charge money for it if they wanted.

I did this on mine in compass yellow (or at least the closest Rustoleum comes). I sprayed some spray paint into a dixie cup and slowly dripped the paint into the voids with a toothpick. Spray paint is pretty low viscosity, so it's easier to fill paint than other kinds.

The only mod I want to do on my fob is to make it work.

They need to make the key fobs passive fobs already. Annoying that you have to push the button every time. Reminds me of the 1990's. Most cars these days, car recognizes the fob and automatically unlocks. Hoping Rivian figures out the issues they were having with it soon.

Dropped my truck off today to get tint / ppf etc. They have done a TON of Rivian's here in Denver, I gave him my key and he instantly said "whoa! are they doing they keys like that now?"

Unknown if it holds up, it took her just a few mins so easy to ask her to do it again. I'll keep an eye on it as I'm carrying the key at all times because I do not trust the phone as a key currently.

Oddly it's been working PRETTY good for me. Sometimes it does stupid things like open / close when I'm kinda close and other times it seems it doesn't notice I'm gone so stays open. I wish they would just set it to around 10ft or so before it opens / locks.

Also curious how it has held up, have been frustrated by a dual axis symmetrical design. Extra annoyed when I see their press photo of all the iterations they went through and nobody thought to say, let's make the back feel different than the buttons and add some extra texture to the buttons too.
I agree with above that they weren't intending to use it most of the time.
