Installed Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack with Yakima BackSwing

It turns out working very well, backswing has enough clearance with tailgate in closed position (Kuat pivot is too close, on the millimeters level)

also tried the combination of kuat nv with kuat hi-lo pro, unfortunately the hi-lo pro 2.0 inch drop doesn’t provide enough clearance to put down the tailgate

can you explain what you meant by the Kuat Pivot not fitting the R1T? That is what I was thinking of going with (havent received truck yet, have 4 bike NV2.0 rack) Thanks!
