Yeah that’s a good option. There are also 2 of us that have done cars & coffee in Wimberley, but I probably won’t go again until October when it’s a little cooler unless it’s a planned meet up

Eventual owner in the SA area, La Vernia. Not in SA too often, but saw a Forest Green on 281 near Johnson City last week. Looks like I’m in for another long wait like I had for my Bronco.

I'm in Austin and just now got my invitation to book my First Mile demo ride.....in Houston.

I reckon that means that they aren't planning on having the Austin center fully operational for a while yet.

I reckon that means that they aren't planning on having the Austin center fully operational for a while yet.

Well it's going to be operational as a service center very soon (next few weeks). It probably means they won't be doing demo drives out of it for a while though. I could see them wanting to ramp up service ASAP to alleviate the strain on Houston, and then worry about drives after.

Or, it's just a disconnect in the system and they will be starting Austin drives in two weeks. Can't say which one for sure.

If you are expecting delivery soon (this year) and really want a test drive, I'd do what I can to make Houston work. If you don't expect delivery until late 2023 or beyond, I'd just wait for the inevitable drives to come out of Austin.
