IIRC, production VIN's (including employee and insider vehicles) started at 1,000, so keep that in mind when divining production numbers.

I am curious if people are getting delivery status from their guides? I had VIN (111XX) assigned and 8-steps started on 8/26 but my guide said that he does not have a delivery or transportation status. I actually asked yesterday because I need to plan some long work trips and he just said I will be notified a few days before delivery and he has no other status. That does not help. My vehicle is being shipped to the Sacramento SC.

I reserved in Sept. '21, confirmed my R1T build on 8/9 and unlocked my 8 steps last night. VIN is low 12,000s and my guide said that my R1T is still in Normal waiting on shipment to Cleveland for the quality inspection, followed by delivery to me in WV. I'm working on the purchase steps now. Can't wait!

For the folks following along...I know there is a ton of data in another thread surrounding assumptions of # of pre-order holders, production stats, etc.

At some point in time R1T production went from strictly LE to them starting to make Adventure packages.

Can we attempt to pick a timeframe where the same may happen for the R1S? Again...not trying to be scientific...just wondering.

I don't expect any Adventure Trim R1S to be delivered before late Q1 2023. The only (rare) exceptions might be very early reservations that opted for Max Pack and changed to Large but were ineligible for LE.

The next day my guide told me the truck was in some status in Normal and it would likely be a couple of weeks, but he would let me know when it was on its way to the SC. On Jul 29th I got a text from the Cleveland SC that my truck was ready for delivery. So a good chance it could show up in Cleveland sooner than you think. With most of the West Coast going by rail that seems to be adding a week or two to the timeline.

On Jul 29th I got a text from the Cleveland SC that my truck was ready for delivery. So a good chance it could show up in Cleveland sooner than you think. With most of the West Coast going by rail that seems to be adding a week or two to the timeline.

I had the good luck of the factory sending out my wall charger before my truck was to be delivered. But somehow it was sent to the wrong address. So, I took the opportunity to email my guide to ask about the wall charger and the status of my truck. When I called him, he confirmed that the charger had shipped again, this time to the correct address, and he said this about the truck:

"Your vehicle is currently in transit to our Bellevue service center where it will undergo its final inspections after the inspections have been completed we'll be able to finish the digital purchasing process and schedule you for delivery."

The Bellevue service center is in Washington and near Seattle about 140 miles north of me. It has taken about 3-weeks (probably by rail) to get there from the factory in Normal. Now that it's in Washington State, I know delivery is getting closer.

My best guess for delivery could easily come sometime later this month, or even sooner than I think, as "MoreTrout" says!

I had the same 8 step date and just received an email from my guide for Sept 16 approximate arrival date. So Cal delivery.

Is rail only for west coast right now?

It may be a vehicle that suffered transit damage or failed QC and needed a significant repair before being sold.
