Man mine was supposed to be in El Segundo on the 16th. No update. I'm guessing if they just unloaded Costa Mesa El Segundo is next.

How long from when it arrived to scheduling delivery? I'm hoping by Saturday I can pick it up!

From what I understand, I think my truck made it to California (I think a rail yard in Yermo was the drop point) about a week or 10 days ago. Just got word from my guide this morning that it made it to the El Segundo SC. I am REALLY hoping that pick up is s00n! I keep checking my account page to see if step 8 is open but I think a lot of people have reported just getting a phone call to schedule delivery. Definitely not letting my phone out of my sight!

I got an email last Tuesday to schedule/step 8 but no times were available. Before I could even text my guide to ask about it I got a call to schedule for last Saturday. It’s an amazing truck!

Seems Blue is for me in your pic. My 8 step also opened up on 9/14 and waiting for delivery confirmation from Chicago SC.

They are not going to call you in my experience however you will get an email from RIVIAN that your truck is ready to be deliver.

Give yourself 1-2 hours after receiving email and then you should able to schedule delivery from Stpe 8. if you try to schedule delivery (step 8) before giving yourself 1-2 hours window, you will get “non currently available” as next available appointment.

So I just beat the window... I was scheduled for Oct-Dec and I just schedule to pick-up for Sept 23 !!!

I am beyond myself. I just got the email to schedule delivery and I could schedule a pick-up in Richmond in 2 days - a Friday. I never put a PTO day so fast on the calendar

Got my confirm configuration email on the 17th. Confirmed and my guide and VIN (122XX)was available right away. Have not completed my steps yet as the Rivian trade in offer on my 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E was pretty low. Checked around and got multiple offers that were $4000+ more to buy it, but since the Rivian offer also comes with a trade in tax credit, there is not much between them in the end. So not sure what I am going to do there just yet.

I did check out the insurance offered through Rivian/Nationwide and if I bundle my home/umbrella, it will actually save me some $$, so likely going to switch.

My guide said that my truck was prepping to leave the factory, when I asked earlier this week and was 6-8 weeks out. However, I did just get a notice that my Rivian charger shipped and should arrive Saturday.

Config: LA Silver, Large pack, Power Tonneau, Standard 20" AT, BM interior, Rivian Charger, All weather mats

Update: Was contacted today and my Truck has arrived at my local Service Center and is ready for delivery as soon as Wednesday. Since I thought I had at least a couple weeks still, I had not figured out my financing, so working to get that sorted since this is all happening much faster than anticipated.

Charger arrived today, so working on getting a quote to get that installed as well. Tentatively scheduled pick up for this Friday. If all goes well, that will be confirmation email on the 17th to delivery on the 30th. Crazy.

Mine was there last Monday and still waiting to be contacted about a pickup time. To make matters worse, my wall charger, crossbars, and wheel cap covers have all arrived and are just sitting here waiting for an R1T to work with.

I will be interested to see your responses. Mine arrived in the last couple of days and the guide just says "Undergoing final checks"

What does your guide say? I assume something similar?

Same thing. It's going through a 92-point inspections that may take some time.
