Dang. Our trailer is right at the limit of what Ford officially supports without the Max Tow package, and we tow over a mountain range, so I'd absolutely want the Max Tow package.

Good luck, though! (Other than that, yours is *EXACTLY* how we would have configured ours - only we haven't gotten a chance to order yet, and with the 2023 price increase and feature removals, we almost certainly won't be ordering. Which disappoints my wife, she slightly preferred the Lightning.)

It’s such a pain the way FMC has involved the dealers. I tried to have it added but it was “too late”.
At any rate, I hope you enjoy your R1T for the duration while you wait. It’s such a great vehicle and I don’t think you can go wrong with either. Just slight differences to be preferred on either!

Ideally the trade would be straight up. I’m aware that the market value has fluctuated for each vehicle and I’m not sure what the price point was before the price hike!
