Tank turn for X-mass?

Really great updates on this the app being able to change charge rates is great and my wife will enjoy the kneel mode. I feel like we really do get a lot of good stuff every update and this keeps me exited.

No Dashcam yet, but we’re getting kneel mode and a nice list of refinements.

Edit: sorry the pics are out of order. Posting from my phone!

THANK YOU RIVIAN - Gear guard now only appears on screen if alarm is triggered. Was SO annoying having to tap out of that screen every time you get in the truck. Considering it got triggered just by walking up to the truck myself, was ALWAYS there. SO, SO, SO much better that we'll no longer have to do that!!

and THANK YOU RIVIAN - Finally, we'll be able to start/stop and adjust charging limit from the app. Two of my biggest complaints resolved. This one is another big one. I am still hoping they allow us to select more than just the 70/85/100 options with a slider to select a specific charge percentage, but at least now, we'll be able to stop it at 90% from the app if we don't want to charge to 100 and don't have to remember to go to the truck to shut it off.

Lots of good stuff in this one, kneel mode, gear guard on startup (or lack thereof) along with reduction in extra recordings, and the charge settings able to be changed from the app, just to name a few.

I wonder how long the kneeling will take. In videos of people changing the ride height they sometimes use time-lapse because of the slow response.
Dropping height is quick, raising the height takes some time especially when the truck is stationary.

Glad to see Rivian is addressing the Drive+ accuracy. When using it I feel like the vehicle is constantly "searching" for the lane which causes a lot of side to side movement. In comparison, our Tesla X is much smoother when using the autopilot application. I'm not saying it's necessarily better, just is smoother when comparing.

This is the first I have seen them reference this camera. Hopefully that means ther are getting close to the hands free spec they reference for Driver+ on the web site.

As this will be the camera they use to ensure you are paying attention. It is possible that they are now using it to get data for implementing the feature and wanted people to know it is only active when Driver+ is engaged.
I put tape over this camera and my Driver+ still works as intended. I like that Rivian is trying to address this privacy concern, but I think all the camera does right now is gather data. It's not actually functional in terms of being necessary for Driver+. Rivian has bene a little disingenuous if you ask me.

No GG on entry is a great tweak. No more "Got It"!

Ping ponging was common in our Teslas in the early days. Gradually and dramatically improved with time.

Smoother is always better.

Think about, which would you rather? Smoothly drifting out of your lane? Or have it suddenly jerk to the left?

Or how about failing to recognize the vehicle in front of you and smoothly nudging that vehicle? Or failing to recognize the vehicle in front of you and suddenly nudging that same vehicle?

It’s great to hear that Rivian is listening to owner feedback.

I REALLY wish it had CarPlay and Android Auto. Practically every new vehicle, especially at the price point, has it as standard equipment.

I agree. Frustrating that i can not access contacts past the letter D. Really thought the interface would have been way better.

And here comes the update!

Will be my first update. How long does it take to roll out to the fleet? Is it like Tesla where it could take weeks to roll out?

Based on the past few updates, they seem to roll them out over the course of a week or two. Although this one is unusual in that we don't usually get two updates in one month
