As part of our production ramp process, we are moving away from configurations with very low demand. Because of this, the following combinations are no longer being produced:

​ ​ If the Forest Edge interior is your lead preference, you can still choose it with our other exterior colors. If a particular paint color is preferred, Black Mountain and Ocean Coast can be paired with all options. To make sure you receive a delivery window estimate, we encourage you to reconfigure soon. We plan to refresh your estimate every three months, which means you can expect updates in January, April, July, and October of each calendar year. Your window will be based on your configuration, delivery location and original preorder date and we will work to prioritize your delivery. Not too surprised for those combos though. If I was Rivian, I wouldn't want mustard relish and off-colored Christmas driving around town with my logo

5e focus still seems to be on the truck since some people are getting delivery within a year of ordering. Also my date moved back 3-6 months from1H2023 (which I took to be June knowing the cutoff last time was end of October 2021 ordering) . This makes sense since production of the S was delayed six months from expected.

It seems they are planning 50k deliveries next year since they will only have completed 2021 orders by end of 2023 and there were around 72k pre order holders at the end of 2021 and 20k+ filled this year. Of course there is max pack delayed but some recent truck orders will be filled by end of 2023 to balance that.
50k is a low number given they are likely to be at 10k for this quarter.

WTF. I am a Nov 2020 pre-order holder and I am now scheduled for "Jan-Dec 2024". I'm livid. The last two times I've called-in, the team has said they're confident I'd be Q1'23... This is insane.

I preordered 10/20, similar config, and went from 1H 23 to 2024...complete BS. I am livid too, and I have been really patient with Rivian.
