With or without the tax break still a bargain for me.

I had no idea what the prices were going to be when I placed my reservation. Based oh how Tesla rolled out their initial models I assumed they would be around 120k so that was where I set my budget. Anything under that is a win in my mind.

After reading this entire thread, I feel like I've kind of hit the R1S lottery. 10/20 preorder LE LG FE 21" wheels, 105 miles from Chelsea MA service center. Feb-Mar 2023 is a stone's throw away. I wonder what pushed me ahead of so many others.

I’m going to read between the lines a little differently. I am hoping that “Processing estimate“ for a 2021 R1T order means “we are trying to get you a truck soon, but the nearest service center is backlogged something crazy. If we can get it under control, or roll out some decent mobile service in your area, you are next on our list.” Perhaps those of us in the INW (like @Hayden123982, @silkyjohnson and @Miker2k) are not in perpetual limbo.

I like it. I’m going to choose to believe that as well! Otherwise all us INW folks just need to go in a cheap piece of property near a service center and update our addresses

Mine doesn't even state which quarter or months... It just states... "2024" , which is 6-12 months after my original estimate for the R1S (Ordered in 12/21) of 2H23.

I am not usually a negative person but this really sucks. Cmon, Rivian, you can do better than this.
