Airbags went off, damage to every body panel. This will likely be the lowest resale price for an R1T.
No one should buy this one. It flips over ”easier than you think”

What if I thought it was impossible to flip?
Then it would flip easier than impossible. And if you think it would easily flip, it’s already flipped.

What if I think my truck has already flipped?
In that case you either flipped it in another dimension/ previous life or crawled into your truck upside down.

I'm with everyone else. This guy is full of shit. No way you flipped your truck in that flat field unless you were doing something epically stupid, like doing donuts in a field where you can't see if there's a rut to catch a tire on and flip your truck.

Yea, Rivian will be able to see what your truck was doing hotshot. Not getting out of this one.

Shame to see such a beautiful vehicle wrecked in a field :(

Seems like an oversight on Rivian's part for an "adventure" vehicle. Surely they didn't expect us to go out rock crawling without a potential to flip the truck right?

They should have just made it so that it was designed to flip, it could have avoided this whole thing. The design and blueprint has been out for it since at least the mid 90's.

Rivian R1T R1S R1T Rollover Flipped! CJ1s

If this was the expectation from the start, it would also be impossible to be "easier to flip than you expected"

Ha I used to own that as a kid! Might be why I like bright green wheels.

We've seen tons of videos of trucks doing high speed donuts in fields, sand, off road drifting with no issues. If it happened to the Rivian it likely would have happened (maybe worse) in any truck.

Why is there dirt and grass on the side facing up then? It looks as if it rolled over more than once, as in made a complete rotation. Your suggestion would get it to flip on its side maybe not roll all the way over. There is no where near enough momentum to do that on something with such a low center of gravity.

I'm no expert either so I could be wrong but it just seems like there is much more to this story than that
As I said, it was a purely amateur analysis. :)
