I'm not a fan of the cybertruck's appearance, but it's a lot better than the renders in the OP link.
To each his/her own, of course, but this view looks mean. I would have probably taken this over a Rivian had it been a legitimate production vehicle.

Function over form. That is the design philosophy behind the Cybertruck. It's designed to be a workhorse that can tow, haul and have the performance of a sports car.

Tesla stated volume production, roughly 150k units, will start in 2024. It will take years for production to catch up with reservations.

Tesla still had a lot of work to do. Beta trucks are starting to be seen on public streets and factory tooling has started to arrive at the TX assembly plant. I might see my 2nd day CT reservation toward the end of 2024 if I'm lucky.

I do like this render as well then noticed the fenders and the bed are an almost copy of the R1T back end looks terrible though.

I'll be shocked if the conversion rate of the $100 deposit is over 25% once the real prices come out.
New MSRP's remain the big question. I predict a minimum of a 20% price increase over MSRP's announced in November, 2019

I've yet to see a cybertruck prototype even hooked up to anything. So I'm going with zero. Zero is just as close to infinite mass as 14,000.

I have seen the concept truck in person. I looked at the truck from every angle for a full 20 minutes. It’s actually attractive in the flesh. 2D Videos and photos don’t do it justice.

With well over 1 million deposits the Cybertruck qualifies as a bonafide hit. Rivian is blessed that it’s R1T currently doesn’t compete with Cybertruck.
I’ve seen it at the Petersen museum. It’s ugly as fuck to me.

Dumber than "can pull near infinite mass"?
