American National Insurance experience?

Any experience with American National insurance. Auto insurance rates for 250/500k coverage for Rivian and sata Fe (1000 deductible) is $1,730 vs my current provider $1,950 (mercury insurance). Checking before I switch to American National

I realize that everyone has a different profile re:insurability but I pay $1100/year with State Farm for the same coverage and $500 deductible.

The rates above are for 6 months. I can't find a lower rate. Tried State fame, farmers, progressive, wawanesa, liberty mutual, amico, all state... Guess socal is expensive. My question is on American national insurance and if anyone had any experience with them.

No accident hx or ticket hx driving record. Rivian / Nationwide quoted me $3k a year with 1k down / 100k/300k coverage; which is not great. Im not combining vehicles since my other is Tesla on Tesla insurance and the rates are better than anywhere else. What other insurance is recommended for SoCal for the Rivian?

I’m in PA. My R1S quote from Erie Insurance (250k/500k, $500 deductible) is $92/month.

Have you tried Costco insurance? Its Connect. We have never been able to get a lower rate anywhere else for the same coverage in SoCal.

We have 4 cars and hour home through them. When we get our R1S, we'll add it to the policy.

I did try Costco insurance they quoted me $2,400/6months
