Fact. We can argue about whether this name or that name is racist slight. It's a waste of time. But the 80s sucked and I will fight that argument to the death.

Actually I loved the 80's. Flying all over the world on my company's American Express card. Racking up expense reports of $15K to $25 per month. Always staying/flying/eating first class.

Oh, and everyone I knew had $40K to $50K in credit card debt. Because you could write off the interest on your taxes. And (at least in 1980) there weren't any STD's that would kill just for fun.

It didn't really sink in how bad the greed was until I sat at California Memorial Stadium, at Cal Berkeley, watching my son graduate in June 1986. Seeing Boesky recite the "Greed Speech" really put it into perspective.
