Well my free charging party has ended, the DCFC chargers at the Ankeny Casey's now cost $0.35/kWh.

The ones I use on the way to Okoboji were free but they also changed to the same price. Oddly, the station in Altoona is still free. All of them are part of the Shell Recharge network.

I'd offer to bill a mere $0.20/kWh for using my wall charger, but it would take a ridiculously long time! ? You'd be better off driving over to Altoona for the free juice. In fact, I might have to hit them up once in awhile myself.

On another note, has anyone had good experiences getting tires rotated at a shop around here? I'm way overdue, don't have pucks (or the spare) so I'm stuck trusting strangers to lift the truck properly which sets off my anxiety

I've done my own. Got the pucks you can borrow. Except I do the spare rotation. You can borrow the pucks to take to a shop as well.

I've got pucks too. Bought after Big-O tire nearly screwed mine up. Don't recommend going there. They were clueless.

Which pucks did you guys get? Even if I borrow some this time around, I should probably get a set of my own. Hard to predict when you'll need them, and borrowing them isn't something you can always get done in a rush.

Without the spare I'd either need a 2nd jack or a set of stands to get two wheels off at a time. Probably something else I should invest in, although I ran out of space in my poor garage for things like this a long time ago, right about the time the truck showed up.... Meh, completely unrelated I'm sure!

I may reach out to one/both of you after the holiday and see what I can figure out. Thanks so much for the offers!

Having the spare helps make the rotation soo much easier. Since we are limited to where to Jack up these trucks since there isn’t a big frame to use with jack stands or a pinch weld type, makes it harder.

Also willing to let you borrow another jack if you need another to get it done.

Sooooooo, when are we rotating your tires?

Hey, I'll take extra help whenever it is offered, so huge THANK YOU. In the near future, I'm free Saturday until 4, and Sunday after 4. Mondays & Tuesdays are typically bad (kids' activities), but most other days are fine. I think Thursday of next week might be out though, wife picked up an evening shift but I can't remember for certain if it was Wed/Thurs.

Anyway, I'll need to fetch the jack from @R1T311, unless he wants to join us & chat while tires get swapped around.
