I'm super frustrated with @EV Sportline. I've given them my money and they've had it for more than half a year at this point. I get no info about their delays except from this forum. They asked me back in March which tread pattern I want. When I've emailed them about where the order is, it is consistently another 6-8 weeks out from whenever I email them. They continue to promote on their website that the sliders are 8 weeks out.

Why is it so hard for them to be more proactive about emailing people with open orders with regular updates?

I think they don’t want to over promise and give false expectations because they’re in the process of ramping up production. Not an excuse and I actually provided them feedback that customers will wait they just want to be given updates (even if it’s bad news like a delay). That being said, at least they are currently shipping and there is product in the wild so it is real. Being an early pre-orderer (First installation for them in van nuys) I will say they definitely are worth the wait.

That’s the problem. Each time I’ve contacted them they give me a new date. They should also stop showing a ship date on their website until they start production.

They should just be frank with their production and design challenges. Post up ship date TBD. Instead they keep collecting preorders with customers that they know they won’t be able to deliver to on time.

All they’re doing is creating ill will instead of being open and honest with their existing and potential customers.

Yep, it shouldn’t be difficult to guesstimate. They know how many they can ship per week and how many orders they have so it shouldn’t be difficult for them to say at their current rate all current orders should be filled by so and so date.

I actually think the ETA for new slider orders (August) needs to be pushed out. I can't see them working through the backlog that quickly.

Guys, we certainly are doing everything we can to clear the backlog - and in fact, it is extremely difficult to estimate delivery dates. Yes, this is fluid timing and as we get production updates, our delivery dates update accordingly. Great things are coming to those who wait - early backorders have secured a cost that is much lower than if ordering today, they earned that!

The product is shipping, and each week we get better / faster at production (same as it went for running boards). It will get faster and faster. For instance, R1T running boards are in stock, R1S running boards are almost in stock, and sliders are shipping as fast as possible.

Thanks again for the patience!

I'll also reiterate what i said before, the sliders are worth the wait; despite all the frustration with communication, they came through with a great product.

Are triple slot R1T running boards in stock? I just sent an email as I’m still waiting on mine. I did convert from sliders several weeks ago, so wondering if that threw me into purgatory.

s00n....ha ha. First production sample is due any day; we need to confirm on truck, then spool up!
@EV Sportline It has been several weeks since your last update on the R1S sliders. Do you have a new start of production date?

It is great that R1T & R1S running boards are in stock and R1T sliders are nearly in stock. So someone who places an order for these now, will get them rather quickly. However, us lowly R1S slider folks are still patiently waiting. The R1S Sliders appear to be the red headed step child of the line.

We love our R1S customers equally! Ha ha, for real. The R1S running boards are practically caught up and will definitely be in stock in July. The slider 1.0 sample is being tested. The great news for everyone is we made a couple improvements which make production faster / easier - that applies to both R1T / R1S. So...R1T sliders are in production and ramping up....R1S slider is a production sample, working on that tooling. Goal is to be shipping R1S sliders in July ?

@EV Sportline - i would like to believe that all customers get the same love. I tagged you guys on Facebook so you see how a person who placed order number 4357 in March got his sliders recently, compared to mine with order number 2051 from November and still waiting. By the time I get these in rainy Seattle, the summer will be over and good-bye to the nice sunny days to go out to the mountain. I know you guys have been doing your best but this is a huge drop of the ball.

The gentleman with order 4357 is just stating when he ordered his and what the ETA was at the time...he does not have his sliders yet :) Rest assured, you're way earlier in the line than him!
