Sure, but I think I would prefer bottom center.
I was off grabbing a pic while @RexRemus posted so this is redundant now, except for the image I added.

That area is reserved for warning icons so I intentionally avoided it.

I would say that during the majority of operation time, this area is clear for use. In the event that that number of alerts are present, the time and ODO might not be that important and could be removed. But I get what ya'll are saying. Bottom line, Rivian has plenty of viable options for adding this info to the drivers display.

Exactly! I think the amount of unused space on that display is what frustrates many owners/drivers. All that empty space feels like a wasted opportunity.

As dleewla said - Customizing / tiling/ allowing drivers to modify to their taste is definitely where its at - we're talking UI here, not even function changes.

I would simply say - go copy the 2020 Range Rover... it has the Riv beat here hands down. Driver's view is customizable (choose what you want from options in ea third, some different views avail). Middle screen is smaller than Riv, but there is a lower screen that can duplicate or swap info... like you can have music controls showing on the lower while Nav on the upper. Upper screen can sit split in 3rds or full screen. Can customize "home" screen with own panel choices.

Oh and I do wish they had a HUD option on the Riv, too - find that super, super usable

The UI on Rivian sucks. The drivers dash lacks customization and it is a simple code fix if Rivian cared.
