Ordered new 20” wheel with +48mm offset from Tirerack

I ended up ordering a set of these with K02s already mounted. Tirerack doesn't have the TPMS for Rivians yet so I'm going to run without them at first. Supposed to be taking the truck off-road this weekend, so good excuse to order. Should be here today.

Are you going to try to use them in the snow or will you switch to your winter tires next season?

Two Rivians and only one set of winter tires currently. My garage is already looking like a tire store so I'll probably try these out first. Worst case I might just end up driving my Polestar 2 instead since the winter tires on that car have proven to be awesome in the deepest stuff we've gotten here. There's always a chance we might get several feet in a few days, to where I'd actually need the better ground clearance. But it hasn't happened in the last few years.

Sorry folks been a little swamped. My tpms and tires have arrived today. Will probably be next week when I can get the tires mounted. Am fairly confident the wheels will clear the calipers, but will try one out over the weekend if I have time and confirm.

Much happier if the rating is 2500lb - gives a bit of buffer. 2000lb seemed kinda borderline. Thanks for contacting tire rack.

What tires did you end up getting?

Not sure if it helps you folks TPMS needs (if tirerack will take TPMS that they did not supply, but I remembered EvSportline has both OEM and aftermarket TPMS for sale:

You should call TireRack RE TPMS.

Are you saying the online message about TPMS is incorrect?

looking into this wheel for a set of winters on my R1S. would like to get michelin x-ice on there mounted with TPMS direct from TireRack but doesn't seem like i can do that because of the sensor. That means i'd have to have them shipped unmounted, get a separate TPMS, and then take them to a shop to get it all mounted and balanced.

Yes the online tool isn't correct.

Support for Rivian and this tire seem quite real time. Save yourself the consternation and just email or call TireRack.

I'll also volunteer to others watching this thread that my sense from my conversations with TR is inventory here not robust. This winter set up should be popular given limited cost effective alternatives. Not if but when for this configuration selling out for the season.

I am going to go into Discount Tire (aka America’s Tire in some states) early next week to see if they can get these also (they own TR). If so I may cancel the 22” Michelin X-Ice I ordered through them and switch to the 20” set up (and order the TPMS through Amazon).
