Just ordered a set of the satin bronze and I'm excited to get these. As one of many people dealing with the challenge of the 21" wheels being ready for replacement and not wanting to mount another set of expensive tires that will be toast after 25k miles, this is the first lower cost wheel that is also aesthetically pleasing (to me). With the 20% discount it's a no brainer, and being able to do local pick up is an added bonus.

Too similar to factory offering in aesthetics. And the wider barrel is more for looks than practical off-roading considerations. So, for me, the only compelling attribute is weight. For future consideration and additional designs (specs, not aesthetics), take a look at what Thuren has done (for off-roading), to improve upon factory specs.

Being a Rivian owner myself, I encountered the challenge of limited tire options at a reasonable price for the 21" wheels on my R1T.

I tasked my team with the mission of crafting 20" wheels that would outshine the OEM 20" wheels in terms of weight, loading capacity, and aesthetics.

These wheels strike an excellent balance between appearance, weight, and affordability. They are versatile enough to accommodate both AT and road tires, allowing for maximum range.

By opting for AT tires, you'll hardly experience any significant range reduction due to the 4.5 lb weight advantage over OEM wheels.

When equipped with quality road tires, you can expect a boost in range, potentially even surpassing what's achievable with 21" wheels. The slightly more aggressive offset ensures they maintain a bold appearance, akin to OEM 20s with AT tires.

This marks our inaugural design for Rivian, and the tremendous demand we've witnessed speaks volumes. It's a clear sign that we're on the right track. We're already hard at work on new designs, tailored for extreme off-road adventures or for cruising in style around the city.

Our new office will be close to CarMax in Plano. We are in the process of finishing papers and will be moving in a couple of weeks.

We don't do tires and installation at this moment but can help with TPMS.

Dear Rivian Enthusiasts,

We understand that the decision between 20-inch and 21-inch wheels can be a crucial one. Let's address a couple of key points:

First and foremost, it's important to clarify that the range difference is more about the tires than the rims themselves. Transitioning to 20-inch wheels and equipping them with proper road tires can potentially yield comparable range results to those seen with 21-inch wheels. In fact, due to the lighter nature of Atomic Wheels in comparison to OEM rims, you will even experience enhanced efficiency leading to extended range.

For those residing in colder climates, who might grapple with reduced range during frigid months, this could be a particularly significant advantage.

Concerning truck reprogramming, Rivian may decline to reprogram an R1 if it lacks factory wheels. However, this isn't a major hurdle. If you're currently on 21-inch wheels and decide to make the switch to 20s, opting for 275/60/20 tires will result in a nearly identical diameter to that of 21s with 275/55/21 tires – a difference of less than 1%.

This means your speedometer will remain accurate, and your range calculations will stay consistent. The only minor discrepancy you might encounter is in the UI, where your truck/SUV will still be displayed with 21-inch wheels.

And for those concerned about tire availability in 20-inch sizes, rest assured, there's a diverse array of options on the market tailored specifically for EVs. One such example is the MICHELIN Defender LTX M/S2 - a robust, all-season tire rated at 116H, aligning with Rivian's OEM tire specifications and considered "EV ready".
