I actually put my truck into this position twice, and was able to back out of it both times. Rear was too unloaded to push forward.

Maybe next time I should cover my underbody in lube.

Yep, but it's required to have both the state ORV stickers to enter, and an additional cost per day (or an annual pass)

Just ordered a set to put some Nokian’s on for winter. Was gonna go with Ram 2363 but this offset results in a virtually unchanged scrub radius so should handle better?

Don't forget to look at a 285/60/20 tire! They fit perfectly and might look better on those 9" wheels.
They also are almost the same diameter as the factory 21's.
I have them on my truck and I drive in sport mode at the lowest setting, and I have experienced zero rubbing. They also cost about the same.
You have many tire choices out there.

I just called Tire Rack to ask about their inventory on these wheels - I was told that they have many more orders placed than they have wheels coming in soon, and the restocking dates on the website are just a best guess. It could be January before they're available. But I was also told something else a bit more concerning. I have the stock 21" wheels on my R1S but need winter tires, so I was hoping to put a 275/60R20 winter tire on these wheels so I don't have to have the speedometer reprogrammed. But the guy at Tire Rack said that they couldn't sell me the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 in that size (the only winter tire in that size they carry, apparently) because the 115 load rating is too low! Does this make sense to any of you? He said you have to build in a 10% margin for SUVs *and* deduct 10% from the tire's rating, but even then it looks to me as if it should work. But he said it was about 600lbs. short per axle and wanted me to get 275/65R20 tires instead.

I'm no tire expert, but as far as I can tell, a load index of 115 translates to a weight limit of 2,679 lbs. per tire. The R1S has a GVWR of 8,532 lbs. Even if I decrease the tire's weight limit by 10% to 2,411 lbs. per tire, *and* increase the GVWR by 10% to 9,385.2 lbs., the total tire weight capacity for four tires is 9,644 lbs. - more than 250 lbs. over what I'd need, right? Am I just doing it wrong, or can I really put a 115-rated 275/60R20 tire on these wheels and still be okay?

The important GVWR is just the rear axle, aka the GAWR which is 4960 (last I checked). But you could find this on your vehicle.

I suspect it doesn't actually matter what the math says, Tire Rack and others just won't mount something less than what the OEM puts on the car, which is 116. But you could maybe say you have a lifted Range Rover and get it that way.

To complicate matters further, I reached out to Fondmetal to see if there were other retail channels to get these wheels (since Tire Rack is backordered) and got the following response: "Thank you for contacting us. The FONDMETAL 9XR has been discontinued and is no longer being manufactured." ?‍
