Okay.. so as promised here are some pictures and my take on LinerX. Note that for my use case, I usually have the 3rd row down and flat cargo surface, which is how LinerX designed this to be. Note I have NOT installed the 2ND row liners because... well... I'm lazy and I don't think I need them right now... The only reason I would install them would be if I want 2nd and 3rd rows flat or if I'm carrying something that can damage the 2nd row seats by poking into them, which hasn't happened yet.
Full shot:
As you can see, there isn't any big gap between cargo and 3rd, which was a BIG concern of mine.
Close ups of cargo and 3rd row intersection:
The transition is not seamless (there's that "lip" at the edge), but I doubt that it's bothering most people. Plus the way it's designed, if you push something from the back, the mats won't slip and expose the 3rd row seat. And since the cargo mat is slightly "bucketed", most of the sand from my Tahoe trip this weekend was trapped there.
Now for the 3rd row mats, note that I did NOT Velcro them to the seats. I thought about it, but since they're laying flat, friction will keep them mostly in place. It did shift a tiny bit during my trip, probably 1/8 or 1/4". THAT might be the reason why we were given those strips (instead of pre-installing them), because some people might just lay them flat without sticking them to the seats.
The 2ND row seats do have Velcro strips preinstalled, but that's probably because it was designed to be hung vertically most of the time? I'm not sure, LinerX can answer that.

Kinda too lazy to install them without any immediate use so to storage they go.... ?
Now, the reason why I decided to go with LinerX is because sometimes (kids migrating from cars to cars for example ?) I need to raise the third row up unplanned. And this works GREAT!
3rd row up:
Notice that I just raised 3rd row up, and kinda made the mats stand up. Didn't tuck in the "flaps" under the cargo mat or anything. I just let them stand there, and they stuck. They did not fall down. Did not even use Velcro. Who knows they might fall later but... I don't mind ?
BTW, some have mentioned about the flap on the cargo area covering the tailgate. I'm not exactly bothered by it. You can fold it (actually it will fold by itself if you raise the tailgate), and then it's about flat.
Tailgate up, flap down:
But maybe I want it to be upright so I can carry stuff without worrying about scratching the interior of the tailgate, maybe five 5-gallon purified water bottles....
The flap upright:
Tadaa!!
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the mats. Your use case might vary, but for mine, it's perfect.
Some downsides (not close to deal breaker for me):
The sides of the bucket does cover the sliding anchors.
It doesn't protect the 3rd row arm rest. No, it didn't come with those blue towels. That was my temporary solution. Thinking about getting Canvasback side pieces with arm rests extension, but I'm not sure if it fully covers those arm rests.
That's all folks ?
