Pedestrian warning sound very loud

Rented an R1T on Turo to determine if it will work for me towing an Airstream BC 16X. Why is the pedestrian warning sound so loud? Seems to be even louder while towing. Also after towing with the trailer disconnected the dual motor whine was more pronounced.

Federal mandates dictate the volume. But it is louder in reverse than drive since the speaker is in the front. That said, it should turn off at 18mph and above.
