So, I'm potentially looking to swap my LE for a leased Max Pack R1T and I was hoping that someone here could confirm a few assumptions that I have:
  • $7500 Rebate - This is claimed by the leasing company so even if I don't qualify for the rebate, they would claim it and apply it to the lease, correct?
  • Down payment - The down payment or trade is completely independent of the $1000 amount put down to secure the vehicle, correct? If I want to use that $1k I should enter $1000 in the box.
I'm also curious as to what Rivian is giving on trade for an actual Rivian R1T (I'm assuming it's low) I have a few offers of mid to high $50's. Does anyone have a recent example?

As I understand it, the $7500 credit applies to all leased EVs (customer income and vehicle price limits do not apply as they would for EV purchases). And, yes, a down payment or trade-in is completely separate from the $1000 deposit made upon ordering. No idea on trade-in values given by Rivian for Rivians.

For the down payment, yes it's independent but enter $0. It's on top of the deposit.

@7FCvin is correct on the EV credit. It applies to everyone.

We took delivery of our leased R1S this month and would be glad to answer any other questions.

How many miles do you have on your trade? Been debating doing the same.

I started this process as i found a dual motor performance max pack at a great lease rate. One point of reference: they offered me $51300 for my adventure quad with 29,000 miles. Seems a bit low, but not horribly.
