R1T/S have both odometer and trip meter albeit only visible when in the drive mode screen. I'm very pleased with the level of tech. in my 2022 R1T. I had a 2023 Mach-E which had AA/CP and much prefer the U/I of the Rivian. I just checked out a $120K Hummer EV (the full spec. Launch edition, forgot what they called it) and it had no built in Nav and relied solely on AA/CP which was a big turn-off for me. Not trying to say AA/CP supporters are wrong just noting that not everyone prefers it.
That's the problem. It's waaaay over there to the far right. So it exists. Why can't we have it front and center?

Yes. There is a market - like it or don't. The "excuse" from the manufacturer is that it is too complicated and costly to supply in an EV vehicle because of the electronic interference. If Kia, Hyundai, and Ford can figure it out, why can't a $90K vehicle? If you don't want it, don't turn it on.

Stupid Question:
If you disable Alexa on the Rivian, but enable it on your phone, can you still use it to say commands like:
"Alexa, play the Tears for Fears Station on my Amazon music" ???
That's really the only thing I use it for.
I have a loaner with Alexa disable and the nav doesn't have voice commands to tell you when to turn! Really annoying.

You can’t even read license plates with the current ones. I’ve also been off-roading and if it is dusty forget seeing anything to help guide you up rock crawling. Constructive criticism. I’m loving what I’m seeing from the updated ones.
I guess that explains why the Driver+ feature is so bad. The car is "seeing" the road like a person with a cataract condition! :rolleyes: Anyway, I think evolving to a streaming option is a great thing and I applaud Rivian for moving the ball in that direction.

I have a loaner with Alexa disable and the nav doesn't have voice commands to tell you when to turn! Really annoying.
I have Alexa disabled and my nav can be audible or silent.
