While doing my tire rotation:

Just was doing a visual inspection after I took my tire off and found the cable mounts just dangling. One had the bolt in place as you can see in the picture the other had no bolt. Trip to Ace Hardware fixed that. Also added zip ties to the lower wire attachment point. Not in photo.

Just have my truck into the San Jose service center where they replace the rear drive unit and I guess checked the fronts.

Anyway just a heads up might be something to look out for.

This is not TPMS, which is wireless and inside the wheels.

That's strange to have the bolt in but not mounted, I lost a bolt on mine a while back and did the same fix as you until service replaced with OEM and documented the issue.

I believe this is brake caliper hoses, definitely not TPMS related.

What's your VIN/year? When I documented, I think we found this more common in early VINs, I'm pretty surprised this hasn't been a recall fix yet.

The wire in question that the OP is holding is the ABS wheel speed sensor(wire), which shares the bracket that holds the hydraulic brake hose in place . You can tell by the bolt head it was removed at some point, possibly some sort of inspection, but was carelessly not reattached properly. I'd relay this to the service center if your truck was just worked on, as that's unacceptable...

Thanks for the corrections. I was just briefly looking at it and threw out a guess.

I had to ZIP tie the ABS wheel speed sensor connector to the plastic attachment harness in both cases also and they didn’t seem to to the job anymore.
