Well, it took almost exactly one year to get it done (and it's still not done yet - there's one more piece that needs to be wrapped gloss black up front, but that'll be handled in a few weeks. All the same, it's finally done so I wanted to share!

When they do the wrap, do they wrap the logos/decals too?? Do they take them off before they wrap and then reapply them?

Depends, you can't get it done both ways - they can cut around the badging but it WILL leave a visible gap, or most quality places will remove and store the badges, fully wrap under them and then reapply on top - mine was completely debadged and then redone with the Abstract Ocean (no ties, and not a plug, just informative) Satin Black badge set.

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I’m in the process of applying the Abstract Ocean black satin badges to my R1T now. Thinking about getting the truck wrapped at some point - might have to get a backup set of badges!

It really looks awesome. Sounds like you got a quality wrap.

I wrapped my wife's Jeep GC because she didn't like the color. They also removed the badges and had a template made for the new adhesive to perfectly fit under the badges. They also removed all the panels to make sure the wrap would go around and behind the edges. It was a lot of work, and definitely I would not want to attempt it myself.

I am glad we did the wrap, but it was my first wrap and I didn't fully understand how much of a pain it would be not being able to run the truck through a car wash. I have searched for videos and reports of people using car washes with wraps and found almost nothing. Everyone says don't do it. I really hate washing the truck.

How are you dealing with it? I have a bunch of no water wash sprays that work well, but you have to manually go over the entire vehicle. It takes at least an hour when the local car wash kids can do it in 15 minutes while I play on my phone.

Yeah they had trim and everything off to wrap behind all edges possible, No way I was going to do the job like that - best leave it to the pros :D

Do you mind sharing the price?
Chrome Delete (roofline, front and rear lower bumper panels - front needs to be done again so I'll be back for that after upcoming vacation)
Full stealth wrap
Ceramic coat everything
Ceramic tint windshield and fronts (verylight, just for UV/heat rejection)

Total was 11k. Not cheap, not the worst I've seen. It's always more expensive around a big city. But it was also about knowing the work was going to be done right, and sometimes having the rep that you do things well let's you charge more - I was willing to pay for peace of mind
