Nice wraps! I’m usually not a fan, but it doesn’t cover up the original paint color completely, so I’m in. I’m a Compass Yellow fan myself. They need to bring it back as a limited run on the R2!!!

Can someone remind me when Compass Yellow was discontinued? Am I right in assuming All Compass Yellow R1s are Gen1 Quad?

They are all gen1, but I saw a dual motor in the shop when I bought mine. So at least one dual motor does exist somewhere. I almost got it, but I wanted the brake calipers to match the paint, and wasn't worth downgrading to dual for $500

I got Tarkus in Aug '23 [128,000 miles ago], pretty sure they announced the retirement of Compass Yellow selection from the Online Ordering App due to lack of folks not ordering it that same month & year, but still had some units in stock up for grabs back then. I could be wrong

We ordered Triss in Aug ‘23 - delivery September. We had been a pre-price hike pre-order but we are late in the game and received a notice that they were discontinuing Compass yellow and to enjoy our new LA silver. We had to fight that hard, but we are able to secure shop access and also get one of the last compass yellow.

My delivery date was November 2023. I was originally going to be a Q1 2024 delivery. But they wanted to finish CY in 2023 so I was shifting up in line when they announced and immediately given shop access. I waited like a month before finding what I wanted in the shop. Untill then they were planning on building it in November or December. So I don't think it was just shop purchases.
