Nope. I have HA running in docker on bare metal and it works just fine.

Welp, I’m silly. I read their comment incorrectly and you’re totally right. You do need HACS.

Sure, but there really is no reason not to install HACS, especially if you want to use Home Assistant for more than just monitoring your Rivian.

Thanks all - I have a couple of Raspberry Pi's sitting around unused and this looks like a fun project! I love the breadth and depth of knowledge in this community and all of the sharing that takes place.

Now if we could only have a separate forum (that I could ignore) dedicated to whining...

You have to search it in HACS, download it, and then add it as an integration.
