Lucid Gravity Opens Order Books Today $94,900 - Anyone Reserving?

The Lucid Gravity definitely has its highs and lows, depending on what you're after. Anyone putting down a reservation today? I actually like the design, though it leans a bit too much into the mini-van vibe for my taste—but that might be a plus for some! The range and luxury features should be exceptional, though.

Can easily get up to $125,000 with some options. I did see it in person a few months ago and it looks nice. I assume the lower trim models will come later like most EV launches.

I am worried about Rivian's viability; that worry is doubled for Lucid. I wouldn't buy one, even if it didn't look like a minivan.

That is an insane price. They won't sell many at all. I know they are efficiency kings and they have great tech and engineering but dang.... that is way too much

800+hp and 400+ miles... sounds like a R1S Tri to me. Have you priced a tri recently, not that far off, in fact the Gravity order I placed was within $5k of my R1S Tri-max.

It's nice as far as what it offers tech and luxury wise but I'm not in the minivan or on-road SUV market so not for me. Though if I was I'd heavily lean towards the Escalade IQ in this segment.

I guess this is true. How many motors does this thing have? I couldn't find on their website. I'm going to guess two? Also this thing is for the pavement only....Their interior is nice though, like ascend trim

That 3rd row does not look very practical. Seems like another 5 seater with 2 seats crammed in the back. 100k is too expensive and Lucids have really bad depreciation, I'll wait and see if the company looks viable in 5 years. Enjoying my R1S for now.

My brother works for Lucid. As a nice fringe benefit, he's been driving a company-owned car, a Lucid Air, for a while now. He's really excited about the Lucid Gravity. I hope it does well, for his sake and for the EV industry as a whole.
