What do blueish/ turquoise color calipers mean?

I was finishing up my MTB ride this evening and saw a mfg plated R1T with blue brake calipers and a wind blown Gary decal on the rear

was it the new quad?

Costco has the pricing listed, can’t say If it’s official but you can Google Rivian Costco and then select your build the pricing seems legit on known entities

While it's probably not all that far off, it was confirmed that the Costco price was a placeholder (that's been there for years, it seems).

They also had LA Silver listed as a $3500 option and 20" off-road package as standard trim, on some dual/tri configs. So not what I'd call reliable even for existing models

I'm struggling to understand the problem here. The Gen2QM has always been "coming 2025." We're still at the beginning of 2025. I don't know why you think as a reservation holder you would be entitled to advance info on pricing and options.

It's a misalignment in expectations and you have every right to cancel your reservation at will, but the only thing that's changed is on your end, not Rivian's.

You seem to be confusing a simple product announcement with the launch and marketing of that product.

And frankly, until the dust settles on these on-again / off-again tariffs, Rivian is going to struggle to provide accurate pricing. I don't blame them for holding back pricing until they are ready to start converting reservations into actual orders.
