I agree.... Ford, GM and others will will be delivering in 2022 so the options are on the table with me. I feel bamboozled.

I honestly don't think you'd even be able to get a F150 until 2024 at this point...

If you don't have an existing preorder for a Lightning or a Hummer you aren't getting either one before 2024. Lightning isn't even accepting preorders anymore.

Only option would be to try and get to the head of the line for the Silverado EV and hope you can get one in "23.

I have faith in Rivian and the R1T is my 1st choice by miles but I still placed a deposite on the lightning. $100 was worth the piece of mind. Plus my local dealer will probably let me transfer my reservation once it's delivered.

I have a day 1 F150 Lightning order and am looking at 2023 most likely. If you order now you'd be lucky to get one in 2025. Silverado EV isn't happening until sometime in 2023.

No, nothing revised. Same email, different audience. The non-LE folks started getting their delivery timeline emails today.

You can pretty much consider the Lightning as being sold out until the next gen comes out in 2025.
It’s looking like Chevy EV Silverado pre-orders open up on Jan 5th.

Unless GM blows my mind, I’m likely to get an R1T. The EV Silverado and GMC Sierra are supposedly being built on the same platform as the Hummer EV. So it worries me that they’ll be expensive. Also, don’t forget that GM products don’t qualify for the current EV tax credit. Ford will likely lose that tax credit in 2022 as well. If you ordered an R1T/R1S and you can hold out, you will qualify. They probably won’t hit that 200k unit cutoff until late 2023 at the very earliest.
