Yeah, I don’t know why Rivian doesn’t have a tan/brown interior. It’s so much better than white. Seems more earthy, which goes with their nature-inspired color palette.

These previews are awesome. Gotta love Photoshop. What about Cloud White (R2’s new shade of white)?

As much fun as these are to look at I think the actual palette will be greatly reduced for mass production, but still uniquely Rivian. Of course there will be limited edition colors down the road.

Developing and applying paint is one of the most expensive aspects of vehicle production due to high material costs, labor rates, and the need for specialized techniques and equipment. I think the R2 and R3 will share colors. They’re too beautiful and expensive to let them go to waste. Here’s my prediction:

Cloud White Metallic
Some shade of Black (Midnight?)
Deep Silver (seen, but not confirmed)
Launch Green or Permafrost
Rivian Blue or Laguna Beach Blue (teal)
Some shade of red/orange or California Sunset
