Had my vehicle in at 38,000 for the “comprehensive inspection” and requested a tire rotation. Was quoted $300 for the inspection and $75 for the tire rotation. Okay. When I picked up the vehicle saw the invoice was $300. They stated that because my tires did not meet factory spec (119S instead of 116H) they refused to do the rotation. Everything apparently passed whatever inspection they did. It just showed a list of items as “passed” but without any measurements such as brake pad thickness etc. So I’ll just take their word that they did it.
Correction. They did measure front pads to 9mm and rear 10mm. That seems correct for very little use of friction brakes.
Kind of unexpected they refused to rotate the tires though. I’ll have to waste another day having it done at Costco or Discount Tire.
