  1. Would you still buy your Rivian today?

Yes. 73k miles and still love my gen1 R1T.
  2. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

Recruitment tool, or recruiting tools, you decide.
  3. I was surprised to discover referrals went from 6 months charging and $750 store credit to only...

Not all “content creators” are created equal. The biggest problem I’ve had with some of the big referrals earners is MANY steal content including mine and use it as their own to get themselves more referrals. Extremely not cool and definitely not what the referral program was meant to be. I put...
  4. Rivian ACC and Regen vs Friction Brakes: A Semi-Scientific Test

I don’t suppose we can drive in service mode, brake pressure has to be in there somewhere.
  5. Rivian ACC and Regen vs Friction Brakes: A Semi-Scientific Test

It will definitely decelerate faster than regen can provide, so I still wonder, “does it use all the regen before it blends?”
  6. R1T vs. R1S

I recently had an R1S as a loaner for a week. 1st day I loved it and thought maybe I should have gotten one, by mid week I was starting to think it didn’t ride or handle as good as my truck, and by the end of the week I couldn’t wait to get my truck back. I would do an R1T again and might someday.
  7. Austin to Anchorage in my R1T [trip updates coming]

Thanks for the updates, keep them coming. It’s very reassuring to me to have this being posted a month before I do a similar trip.
  8. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

I’ll add my anecdotal evidence. I switched to Cooper all terrain LTs which are heavier than the stock ATs and expected a range hit, but 30k later I can say with certainty it made no difference in efficiency.
  9. Gen2 Quad

    * Should be larger. You got me.
  10. Austin to Anchorage in my R1T [trip updates coming]

I’m making this trip in July, so it’ll be fun getting to watch someone here do it first. Good luck and travel safe.
  11. Portland service center experience

We are very lucky in the PDX area, the people and service at the Tualatin SC are also extremely good!
  12. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

I started out towing with the Perelli all terrains, when they wore out I replaced them with Cooper all terrains that are heavier and have a higher load rating with no noticeable reduction in efficiency.
  13. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

Yes your thinking is correct. I sold an e-pro 15tb and bought a geo-pro 20fbs. The 2 trailers have identical frontal area and shape, but 20fbs is 6 feet longer and ~ 1k heavier. After over 5k miles towing each, the efficiency is essentially identical, 1.03 miles/kWh for the 15tb, and 1.02...
