Yea… I’m also having a ridiculously bad experience with Rivian service right now. Long story short is that they’ve lied multiple times about ETAs, actually doing what they were supposed to do, and now my battery has been draining in the southern heat at the shop for two weeks. Not only has comms...
Hey there - I’m in Waxhaw and due for a tire rotation and alignment. Confirming that the closest “Rivian approved” shop is all the way up in Hickory, NC?! They’re really dropping the ball considering how large the Charlotte market is…
Luckily you don’t have to worry about complaints coming from me. I know what I’m signing up for. Hope you aren’t losing sleep over random strangers complaining on an online forum though…
Soooo, I live in NC and got the same “processing” update as you all. I have a buddy who lives in Virginia, so I changed my delivery address to his and now I’ll be taking delivery of my R1T in 2 weeks lol. If you have friends/family in another state you don’t mind visiting, just change your...
Yea, Ford would sell Edge EV or Explorer EV like hotcakes. One dealership marked down a Mach-E under MSRP as well. I was pleasantly surprised with the F-150 Lightning. Rivian needs to get its head out the sand because there are really compelling options coming to market. People will only put up...
Welp, I finally got the chance to see an F150 Lightning Lariat extended range battery in person. Found a display at a dealership that I’ll be purchasing in December no markup, I’ll actually get it for under MSRP
Same here. I’m in NC as well. They blamed it on being too far from a service center… I don’t understand why they didn’t fight for a SC in either Raleigh or Charlotte from the start. Tesla knew this would be a hot bed, how did Rivian not know?!
Mine is set to processing… won’t have a date until Jan probably b/c i live too far from a service center WTF… can’t wait to see how many cancellations happen…
Interesting point… this was all happening leading up to IPO if i recall correctly. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but this isn’t a great look for Rivian
It’s frustrating they didn’t link to this article on the order page where you can change your options, or send via email to folks who had powered tonneau selected…
Don’t know if this has been posted, but i just finished chatting with a Rivian rep and they pointed me to this article with the most important point:
For the foreseeable future, all R1Ts will be built with either a manual tonneau cover or no tonneau cover.
Hey! Were you in the Millbridge community in Waxhaw a few days ago? I saw a RB R1T in the neighborhood and it made me sad b/c I’m still waiting for mine but happy to see one around
R1 Shop has 19 trucks; there are plenty of us within 3-4 hours from ATL in Charlotte who would take these … but their system is borked and inefficient, lol.
