  1. Winter Tires on the 20" Wheels

Very often, the OEM version of a tire is different. On another thread, somebody did the research and found this to be the case with this tire--I do not think it is 3PMSF rated--maybe it is really the same tire without the rating?
  2. If you have a Tesla-branded CCS adapter, be sure to watch this video before using it with your R2

UL 2252 certification validates multi-standard EV charging adapters This UL standard tests current capability, temperature, and arcing. I am not familiar with the amount of overhead required to pass, but would assume it is at least 1.5X rated spec. In the world of mounting AV stuff to the wall...
  3. Ketchum: Wait for LiDAR? - The Rivian R2 LiDAR story isn’t what you think

Tesla's do not have radar anymore.
  4. Ketchum: Wait for LiDAR? - The Rivian R2 LiDAR story isn’t what you think

I like to drive vs fly when I have time. I just drove our BMW X5 50e to our vacation home in Steamboat for the 4th. From there, I drove my kid back to Bozeman (saw Houndmouth at a little venue in the mountains), then home to Minneapolis. 2500ish miles--a lot of interstate over 3 weeks. BMWs...

    LE also includes radar.
  6. Half Moon Grey R2 with Ammo Reflex V Enamel Coat

That is why Gyeon Prep (many similar products) is the final step before applying the ceramic coating.
  7. Yokohama Geolandar H/T4: the Ultimate Tire for Your Rivian

I know, just wondering if there is a way to space them out 10mm.
  8. Yokohama Geolandar H/T4: the Ultimate Tire for Your Rivian

The most interesting tire for R2 to me is VREDESTEIN PINZA AT, but it is only available in 275/55R20. The diameter is basically the same. Is it possible to space them out, or will they just not work?
  9. Half Moon Grey R2 with Ammo Reflex V Enamel Coat

Good comparison of leading brands: The process is to wash the car in the shade or inside. While it is wet, spray a few pulls of Iron Remover (Gyeon Iron for example) on each panel and lightly wipe the car with a clay bar, a clay mitt or a clay towel. Rinse well and dry. After an hour of...
  10. How is level 1 charging? 3 to 4 miles per hour?

To step from 5-15 to 5-20 requires a cheap 5-20 outlet <$20; but you need to make sure that you have 12 gauge, not 14 gauge running from the box to the outlet, and of course you need a 20-amp breaker. There are a number of chargers that can do level 1 at 15-16amps. The Tesla charger is one, but...
  11. R2 Three Day Ownership Review. Comparison to R1T. Efficiency and Range data!

3.11 is way better than my R1S. You are awesome, thank you for all the info. I wondered if I would have to take my driver out to keep my clubs in the frunk.
